Grace Leger, LMT

Founder of Elite Massage and Injury Rehab

Grace Leger, B.A., LMT, received her massage therapy license from the Boulder Massage Therapy Institute in Boulder, CO and now works with professional athletes in the Colorado area. As an athlete herself, Grace first became interested in massage and bodywork after she experienced a variety of injuries during her running career. Massage was, and continues to be, one of the most effective treatments for her.

Grace founded Elite Massage and Injury Rehab in Boulder after becoming fascinated by the mind-body healing process for treating both physical injuries and mental health issues. While Grace was facing adversity during her own injury recovery, she found her passions: sports massage and sports psychology. This led Grace to pursue both her undergraduate degree in Psychology at University of Colorado Boulder and become a Licensed Massage Therapist. She has a deep passion for trigger point therapy, myofascial release and deep tissue massage. It is her goal to understand the struggles of injured athletes, provide massage therapy and deliver additional tools to allow them to return to their activities, no matter if they are recreational, aspiring or professional athletes.

Grace’s latest published research involves the Relationship between Body Appreciation and Life Satisfaction with Regard to Exercise Frequency. Grace has experience and interests regarding body image, performance anxiety, stress stemming from injuries and interpersonal relationships on a competitive sports team. All of these psychological interests inspire Grace to become a better massage therapist. While she was competing, Grace was trained by a former triathlete and Olympian. Additionally she has experience treating professional athletes in the area.
